Durant une entrevue par satellite servant à promouvoir le "Royal Rumble" au Mexique, Rey Mysterio parle d'un "three-way match" avec The Undertaker... et Batista.
Ce serait d'ailleurs le plan mis sur pied initialement par la WWE. Les plans ont-il changé ou Batista sera ajouté au match à la dernière minute?

Le nouvelliste Nick Noel rapporte que les rumeurs sont contradictoires quant au statut de Jeff Hardy au sein de la TNA.
Plusieurs gens croient que Hardy a bel et bien signé un contrat avec la TNA, mais des proches du lutteur affirment que ce n'est pas le cas. D'ailleurs, son absence à "Genesis" et aux récents enregistrements télé semble confirmer cette dernière hypothèse.
La WWE est toujours intéressée à ramener Hardy au sein de la compagnie, mais préfère attendre qu'il ait comparu en cour.
Une personne près de Hardy suggère qu'il ait accepté de faire partie de l'émission "Impact" du 4 janvier afin d'attirer l'attention de la WWE. Hardy n'aurait pas apprécié d'être ridiculisé par CM Punk à propos de son arrestation pour trafic de drogue depuis son départ de l'empire McMahon.
On croit que Hardy perd son temps à la TNA, alors qu'il pourrait redevenir une étoile à la WWE.

Jim Ross fait le point sur l'interview de Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson par David Letterman.
Johnson a entre autres affirmé être fier d'être toujours The Rock pour ses anciens fans de lutte. Ross croit que le Braham Bull ne luttera plus, mais qu'il sera éventuellement invité spécial à "RAW".

"Loved it on Letterman when Dwayne said that he would always be "The Rock" which was not only true but had to make wrestling fans around the Globe feel good. I don't ever see the Rock wrestling again but I know that he will host Raw sometime in the future to reconnect with his fans and to promote his latest project. I also know from the communication that Rock and I have that he still loves the business and most importantly the fans of the business who always support his film projects. There is no more positive person that I communicate with than is Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson which is extremely refreshing."

The Roush Fenway Racing driver will rev up Raw as a special guest host just six days before the NASCAR Sprint Cup season begins with the sports most-highly anticipated race, the Daytona 500.
It's also no secret Edwards and John Cena are close buddies. Their friendship first blossomed in 2007 when the racecar driver taught Cena how to drive a NASCAR stock car on the reality show, Fast Cars and Superstars. The Gillette Young Guns Celebrity Race. (MORE) Less than one year later, Cena starred in a Gillette Young Guns commercial with Edwards and several other NASCAR drivers. And Edwards has also mentioned Cena by name while celebrating in Victory Lane.
